Arc suit

An arc suit (Japanese: アルコス Arceus Costume) is a special type of outfit appearing in Pokémon Masters EX that is designed to resemble Arceus. They are granted, through the power of sync stones ultimate, to Trainers who have a very strong bond with their partner Pokémon. The outfits are said to have been blessed by Arceus. Once a Trainer has awakened their arc suit, they can freely activate it again at will. However, it is a temporary transformation; it reverts to the Trainer's original clothes after a certain amount of time.

Unlike sygna suits, which denote a sync pair formed with a different partner Pokémon than normal, arc suit sync pairs are new sync pairs formed with the same partner Pokémon. These sync pairs can be scouted to join the player's team through special sync pair scouts called Arc Suit Fairs.

Mechanics

Arc suit sync pairs have two special passive skills on top of their three regular passive skills: one that strengthens all allies based on the number of sync pairs of a certain type that are on the team, and one that raises all allies' type rebuff of a particular type and lowers all opponents' type rebuff of the same type upon entering a battle. These passive skills share their name with the corresponding type of Plate.

Arc suit sync pairs' sync moves all have a unique animation where they receive divine power from Arceus while standing in the Hall of Origin from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, rather than having their sync move mindscape displayed in the background. These sync moves are called "divine moves"[1], and they all have an additional effect.

Arc suit sync pairs also have special golden sync grid tiles that can be activated for zero energy. One tile is unlocked each time the pair's move level increases, and unlike other sync grid tiles that can be activated for zero energy, these golden tiles can power up moves or grant additional grid skills.

All arc suit sync pairs have a special role called Multi, which allows them to lower the opponent's type rebuff of a particular type the first time their sync move is used each battle once raised to 6★ EX. The specialties of an arc suit sync pair, as well as the items required to unlock their level cap, are dependent on their EX role.
