Welcome to the Stadium!
Welcome to the Stadium! (Japanese: スタジアムにようこそ! Welcome to the Stadium!) is the third chapter of Pokémon UNITE Manga - Come On Over to Aeos Island!. It was released together with the fourth chapter, In Search of an Aeos Energy Spot, on October 13, 2022 internationally and in Japan on November 16, 2022. It is four pages long.
Plot
Erbie announces that competitors in Unite Battles can take a break until the next battle is announced. This leaves time for a female Trainer to meet their father outside Remoat Stadium. He is not from Aeos Island, but came to cheer his daughter on. She comes running out of the crowd with her Wigglytuff, and her father came with an Aegislash. Zirco Trading happens to be nearby, and Zirco’s Sableye waves at the duo to catch their attention. Zirco welcomes them in and promotes his Holowear. The father is unfamiliar with the concept but the daughter is already well informed and browses. She picks out Bedtime Style: Wigglytuff for her Pokémon, and puts it on right away,
After they leave, the Trainer and their father encounter a shopkeeper with a Chatot. They ask the two to visit the Aeos Emporium. The Trainer ends up making so many purchases that she, her Wigglytuff, and her father’s Aegislash all have to carry the boxes and bags, She passes her bags to her father, then runs off to join her teammates. While her dad tells her how proud he is of her placing in the Master Rank, the trainer suggests her placement is really a team effort. Further, she proposes that her father should participate in Unite Battles.

Trivia
- In the versions published on the Pokémon UNITE website and Play Nintendo, starting with this chapter, each panel has a number to indicate the correct order to read them in.
- Despite the listing of Zirco’s Sableye as wearing Zirco Trading Style: Sableye, said Holowear was not introduced to the game until September 5th, 2024. This is over two years past the release of this chapter.
- Trainer Fashion items listing:
- The main Trainer wears the Orange Unite Set at the start of the chapter, then purchased a Star Hoodie (Pink)
- In the second to last panel, the leftmost trainer is wearing the items from Season 2 of Ranked Battle, and the trainer second from the right is wearing the Beach Style Set. The other trainer's items could not be identified.
- The map on the first page displays Remoat Stadium, differentiated from the mostly identical Mer Stadium by the presence of five goal zones, rather than three.
- Remember how Aeos Energy’s trivia section said that assets from Pokémon UNITE are used in the manga on screens? This chapter goes through two shops, meaning there are many instances of this occurring.
- Zirco Trader’s screens again have images of Holowear. Unlike the last chapter, this chapter depicts them all on the same red background, but also has the artwork in full color. The visible ones are, from left to right and top to bottom: Bedtime Style: Wigglytuff, Fashionable Style:Pikachu, Beach Style: Absol, Checkered Style: Blissey, Practice Style: Greninja, Bedtime Style: Snorlax, an unidentified Holowear, Ruins Style: Lucario, and Masked Style: Gengar.
- The Aeos Emporium scene has Battle items, Held items and Trainer fashion items.
- All four of the Fashion items on the screens are “Sets”, items bundling a group of items into one purchase that all match and create a singular theme. They are, from left to right and top to bottom, an unidentified Set, the Magician Set, Captain Set, and Firefighter Set. The Magician Set’s icon is slightly different, as there are three icons for included items in the manga, even though the game only includes a single icon for the hat.
- The Trainer fashion items include the row for costs, in both Aeos ticket and Aeos gem values. They match the costs of the items in the game.
- Battle items are displayed in their diamond shaped boxes, exactly as in the game’s user interface. The items are, from left to right and top to bottom, Potion, X Attack, X Speed, Fluffy Tail, Eject Button, and Slow Smoke.
- Some of these items have odd colors, potentially caused by the presentation of them being on a screen. Potion appears be pink, resembling a Hyper Potion. Fluffy Tail is orange, and X Speed appears green instead of blue.
- Aeos Emporium does not sell these Battle Items in the game. They are are Trainer level rewards, meaning the Unite Battle Committee provides them to the player when they reach certain Trainer levels. Battle items that are not part of the set available at the launch of Pokémon UNITE, such as the Shedinja Doll, are sold at Aeos Emporium.
- The Held items on the screen from left to right and top to bottom are, Aeos Cookie, Attack Weight, Special Attack Specs, and Leftovers.
- A number of items are shown on the tables. They are a mix of Held Items and other items. The Held items are, from left to right and top to bottom: Rocky Helmet, Wise Glasses, three Weakness Policies, five Super Item Enhancers, Choice Specs, a number of less detailed representations of Battle Items, Leftovers, and a 7-Day Battle Point Boost Card.
