Electric Guard (Japanese: でんきガード Electric Guard) is a skill in Pokémon Masters EX.

Effect

Electric Guard reduces the damage taken from Electric-type moves, including buddy moves, by 30%. It does not reduce damage from sync moves or max moves.

• All sync pairs that have access to Electric Guard without the use of Lucky Cookies are formed with Pokémon that can have an Electric-type immunity in the core series games:
  • Onix is a Ground-type Pokémon.
  • Therian Forme Thundurus, Wattrel, and Kilowattrel can have the Ability Volt Absorb.
  • Pikachu and Pincurchin can have the Ability Lightning Rod.
