Plot
On the Brave Olivine, the younger members of the Rising Volt Tacklers listen to the Explorers admins Coral and Sidian promoting the Strong Spheres to an enthusiastic audience from Uruto's Rotom Phone. Just then, Liko receives a message from Cervantis, who agrees to a meeting and asks to meet the group at an Exceed warehouse. With hope that he could help them with the Strong Spheres and the Six Heroes, Roy declares they'll leave once Murdock and Mollie return. Dot returns to her room to update the intel they have on the Strong Spheres despite Gimmighoul wanting her and Quaxwell to collect Gimmighoul Coins. Unhappy, Gimmighoul leaves the room and goes to the top of the airship where it sees Tinkatuff looking for iron for her hammer in a scrapyard. Coin Chest Pokémon joins her and finds coins on its own while Tinkatuff finds a piece of iron that satisfies her. When Gimmighoul gets intimidated by a Scrafty, Tinkatuff steps in and protects Gimmighoul. However, when she returns to the iron she was working on, she sees it is taken by the workers, making the Coin Chest Pokémon feel guilty as everyone goes back to the Brave Olivine for takeoff.
Meanwhile, Coral and Sidian are wandering around town separately for their own leisure until they get surrounded by their fans. Fortunately, they get saved by a woman who reveals she's their manager while she brings them to a Flying Taxi. The Cabbie initially refuses to bring them to their destination of Paldea due to it being the home of Corviknight's predators until he notices Coral, making him more willing to do as requested. Back at the Brave Olivine, as the Rising Volt Tacklers travel to their own destination, a depressed Tinkatuff looks over the road they're traveling and brightens up when she spots the iron she lost. Without hesitation, the Hammer Pokémon jumps off the airship and lands on the back of the truck carrying the iron. When the truck stops, Tinkatuff momentarily gets distracted by a group of Skwovet and Greedent before realizing she's lost. Dot notices Tinkatuff's disappearance and tells her friends to go on first while she and Murdock look for the Hammer Pokémon. At the same time, Tinkatuff witnesses a Corviknight flying above her and becomes enamored with its feathers. The Hammer Pokémon successfully hits the Raven Pokémon with a rock and chases after it as the Flying Taxi crashes. Dot and her remaining Pokémon also see the falling Flying Taxi and make their own pursuit. Coral and Sidian exit the taxi to see Tinkatuff grabbing Corviknight's feathers just as Dot arrives, also surprised to see the two Explorers. Meanwhile, the Cabbie and his Corviknight flee from the scene, fearful of Tinkatuff. Coral questions Dot's presence, causing the latter to realize the message Liko received is a trap, before deciding to have a battle to fulfill her urge to battle.
Despite Sidian's attempt to stop Coral from battling, she does so anyway by having her Glalie use Ice Spinner that is kicked back by Quaxwell's Liquidation. Sidian calls out his Garganacl to assist in the battle, causing Quaxwell to face two Pokémon alone while Dot helps Tinkatuff with her hammer. However, the Explorers quickly overwhelm Quaxwell, leading to Gimmighoul taking Quaxwell's place to protect Tinkatuff. Gimmighoul attempts to use Astonish on Glalie, but it has little effect. Glalie manages to overpower Gimmighoul, who loses some of its coins near a feather. Choosing between the coins and the feather, Gimmighoul struggles to carry itself to the feather before lifting it to pass on to Tinkatuff, who accepts it. Eventually, her new hammer is completed, but it is also too heavy to carry even with the assistance of her Trainer and friends. Before Coral could have Glalie finish the group off, Tinkatuff successfully lifts the hammer, allowing her to evolve into Tinkaton. Tinkaton ends the battle by sending Glalie flying with Brutal Swing when the latter charges in with an Ice Spinner, causing the two admins to run after Glalie. As Dot congratulates Tinkaton for her evolution, she remembers that she needed to inform her friends of the trap. Unbeknowest to her, Liko and Roy are already at the warehouse, facing off against Indy and Rubella.
