(Japanese: ハルカ Haruka) is a main character in the manga series Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪.
History
Shortly before CCP01, Haruka and Torchic moved from the city to a new home in the countryside. Haruka quickly became acquainted with Torchic's new friends by feeding them her Pokéblocks, despite Torchic warning them of their taste. After experimenting with different kinds of Pokéblocks, Haruka was finally able to make one Torchic could enjoy.
In CCP08, Haruka went on a fishing trip with Torchic, Poochyena, Pikachu, and Clefairy to catch a Feebas. After she succeeded, she evolved Feebas into Milotic, but it looked unusual for its species due to the poor quality of her Pokéblocks.
Some time before CCP13, Haruka befriended Kanata, but their relationship became strained when he asserted that he could make better-tasting Pokéblocks than her, despite never having made them. Offended, Haruka demanded a competition, which she ultimately lost. Afterward, Kanata and Haruka bickered with each other, but rekindled their friendship in CCP14.
Later, Haruka and Torchic competed against Kanata and Poochyena in a contest to fish up the largest Barboach. While Haruka struggled to reel in any particularly large Barboach, she unknowingly caught a shiny one, which won her team the grand prize.
In CCP30, when Haruka joined the Pokémon at the beach, she learned of Torchic's crush on Poochyena. When Torchic had an outburst after seeing Delcatty and Poochyena spend time together, Haruka protected her secret by telling the others Torchic was simply nervous of getting splashed. Later that day, Haruka comforted Torchic and gave her advice on her relationship with Poochyena.
In CCP40, Haruka revealed to Torchic that they would be moving back to the city due to her father's work. After the two moved, Torchic was distressed upon learning Poochyena and Delcatty became a couple. Haruka responded by giving her a pouch of money, as well as a map to guide her back to the countryside so she could confess her feelings to Poochyena. When it is revealed that Poochyena had moved to the city with Kanata, Haruka explains that she had known all along, but was unable to tell Torchic due to her commitment to forgetting him.
Character
Haruka is fun-loving and quite caring; often supporting Torchic in her antics and comforting her in times of need. She has a passion for making Pokéblocks, but struggles to find Pokémon who enjoy them. Despite Torchic's wish for Haruka and Kanata to become a couple, Haruka does not appear to have any interest in romance.
