The Laverre Gym (Japanese: クノエジム Kunoe Gym) is the official Gym of Laverre City. It is based on Fairy-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Valerie. Trainers who manage to defeat her receive the Fairy Badge.
In the core series games
The Gym is designed like a dollhouse, or like a house seen in fairytales, befitting of its designated Fairy type. In order to battle Valerie, the player must go through a warp panel puzzle, much like the Saffron Gym in Kanto. After Valerie has been defeated, a one-way warp panel in her room can be used to return back to the entrance.
The table below shows how the Gym's teleporters are interconnected. The colors are meant solely as a visual aid.

Pokémon the Series
In Pokémon the Series, the entrance foyer of the Gym is a fashion retail outlet, stocking Valerie's latest designs.
The Gym appeared in A Fashionable Battle!. Its exterior appearance is similar to the games, though it also has a catwalk, which is used for fashion shows hosted by Valerie. During one of said shows, Valerie allowed Sawyer to have an official Gym battle with her. However, Sawyer was soon defeated, leaving him without a Badge for the time being.
The Gym's battlefield was shown in Fairy-Type Trickery!. It is a garden with wall-mounted digital displays, which are used when Valerie is making her entrance. Ash had a Gym battle with Valerie, eventually emerging victorious and earning his sixth Kalos Badge.
In A Towering Takeover!, Valerie and her Pokémon were seen watching Lysandre's broadcast from Lumiose City at her Gym.
Pokémon used in the Gym
Sylveon
Sylveon was briefly seen in its first appearance with the other Pokémon before Valerie went on the catwalk.
Sylveon reappeared in Fairy-Type Trickery!, where it battled Ash. Even though it provided a tough challenge for Ash's Fletchinder, it was eventually taken down with a supereffective Steel Wing.
Sylveon's known moves are Disarming Voice, Fairy Wind, and Giga Impact.
