Trivia

This card was banned from the Gym Leader Challenge format starting September 1, 2024, in the wake of three cards introduced in the Scarlet & Violet Series — Joltik, Crispin, and Magneton — which can very easily power up Raikou's Amazing Shot attack in a single turn. The Amazing Shot attack allows the player to target the opponent's Active Pokémon and one of their Benched Pokémon at once, and not all types in the Gym Leader Challenge format have adequate Bench protection against it.^[1]
