Team MZ (Japanese: ＭＺ団 EmuZetto-dan, literally MZ Gang) is an organization based in the Kalos region, specifically in Lumiose City, with main goal to protect their city.
In the core series games
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
They have been tasked by Quasartico Inc. to take on and calm down Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon, aiding their investigations into these strange occurrences. Paxton/Harmony are invited to join Team MZ by Urbain/Taunie. Other members of the team include Naveen, who joined in exchange for studio space, and Lida, who joined in exchange for lodging.
Trivia
- In Korean, "MZ" is an umbrella term used to group young people who are either millennials or part of Generation Z, which could be a double meaning for the team name.
