As revealed in HZ107, Dragonite once used to belong to Uruto's father and was later given to his son.
In HZ106, reacting with Uruto's willingness to fight for others, Dragonite appeared before him for the first time and quickly defeated Indy and Rubella's Darmanitan. In the next episode, when Uruto called for its strength in order to protect the ones he cares about, Dragonite appeared once again. This time, it Mega Evolved, allowing it to overpower the opposing Rabsca's Gravity and defeat them. Alongside Roy's Mega Lucario, it defeated the Explorers duo's Zen Mode Darmanitan.
