The 2025 Italian regional elections will take place in six regions of Italy during 2025.[1]. These elections will occurr in the wake of the failed 2025 Italian referendum due to a lack of participation, and in a context of strong political polarisation between the right-wing Meloni government and the centre left opposition[2]
