Kuhsar Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهسار)[5] is in the Central District of Hashtrud County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[6] Its capital is the village of Owshendel.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 4,318 in 960 households.[7] There were 3,806 inhabitants in 1,062 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,559 in 1,123 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Owshendel, with 853 people.[4]
