"Candidatus Hodarchaeum" is a monotypic genus of Promethearchaeati archaea. It contains the sole species "Candidatus Hodarchaeum mangrovi". It is in the monotypic family "Candidatus Hodarchaeaceae", monotypic order "Candidatus Hodarchaeales" and class "Candidatus Heimdallarchaeia".^[1]^[2]^[3]
