He is the only character in the games to have the Trainer class Blueberry Academy Director (Japanese: ブルーベリー学園校長 Blueberry Academy Principal).

In the core series games

Character and role

A longtime acquaintance of Clavell, Cyrano visits Paldea to invite the player to attend his academy as part of an exchange student program, having received a recommendation from Carmine following her adventures with the player in Kitakami.

Cyrano is somewhat forgetful, and has Briar and Lacey execute tasks in his stead. He befriended Clavell in his youth when they studied at the same university. He refers to Clavell by the nickname "Velly", much to Clavell's chagrin.

Once the player has completed the Blueberry Pokédex, Cyrano rewards them with the Mark Charm.

Appearance

Cyrano's scarf appears to be designed after the sashes found on Honedge's evolutionary line. He also has a ring on his fourth finger, implying he is married.

Pokémon

All of Cyrano's Pokémon are from Generation V, referencing Blueberry Academy being located in Unova.

League Club Room

Cyrano can challenge the player to a Double Battle under the pseudonym Saffron after the player has traded with ten special coaches in the League Club Room, besides Nemona, Arven, and Penny. He keeps his Pokémon in Premier Balls and will Terastallize his Serperior at the first opportunity.

All of Cyrano's Pokémon have the maximum of 510 EVs, with all of his Pokémon having 252 EVs on HP and 4 on Speed; however, with his Zebstrika, Emboar, and Samurott having 252 EVs on Attack, his Gothitelle and Mandibuzz having 252 EVs on Defense.

All of Cyrano's Pokémon except his Serperior (which has perfect IVs, with 31 in all six stats) have 30 IVs in all of their stats.

Traded to the player

Upon defeating Cyrano, he will trade a Shiny Blitzle to the player in exchange for almost any Pokémon excluding Shiny, Legendary, or Mythical Pokémon.
