Founja Jungle (Japanese: ミッケジャングル Mikke Jungle) is a jungle on Belusylva Island of the Lental region.
Layout
The course starts in a densely forested area with Pokémon such as Metapod and Beautifly populating the jungle. Aipom can be seen running on a tree branch halfway through the area. The player reaches the first branching path that leads to either a field with Liepard or Aipom, or a path near a swamp with Quagsire and Yanmega.
Once the two paths rejoin, a log allows the player to pass through over a field with a large tree amongst ancient ruins and crystablooms. This then leads to the second branch point, where the NEO-ONE can drop to a path along a lake, or follow behind a waterfall. The course ends on a field with trees and Liepard.
The course is mostly unchanged during the night. Nocturnal Pokémon such as Ariados and Morelull are active, while other Pokémon may be found sleeping.
Alternate routes
- The first alternate path gives access to the swamp, and is first unlocked on the night course. A crystabloom before the swamp can be illuminated, revealing a set of Slaking footprints which lead towards tall grass which the NEO-ONE can follow to access the alternate path. This path can then be accessed on the day course as well.
- The second alternate path follows behind the waterfall.
- Day: A Liepard will be resting on a rock before the waterfall. Throwing Illumina orbs while playing a melody at the Liepard before it goes to sleep will cause it to jump off the rock, which allows the player to go behind the waterfall.
- Night: The same Liepard can be interrupted with fluffruit and melody, causing it to jump off the rock.
- An alternate path is available on the night course which enables the NEO-ONE to drop closer to the ancient ruins. To access this path, a Liepard sleeping on a rock along the main route (after the first branch point) must be illuminated with an Illumina orb. This Liepard will then appear behind the NEO-ONE as it approaches the ancient ruins. If a fluffruit is thrown at it, a second Liepard will jump onto the log that the NEO-ONE is passing over, knocking it down closer to the ancient ruins.

| Cutting Moment | Check it out! This Aipom just sliced right through the grass like PCHOW! I just wish I’d been a little quicker with the shutter... | Level 2+ | On the first alternate route, Aipom will run across to the left. Throwing an Illumina orb at the Aipom will cause it the cut the grass with its tail. | Wow, that’s an awesome shot! Tch! Fine! I’ll just head out there and take another picture! | Phil |
| Dangling Metapod | If you observe Metapod closely, you’ll notice that they use their thread to lower themselves. | Level 1+ | A Metapod can be found on a log halfway through the route on which a Liepard is lying on. Throwing an Illumina orb at it will cause it to dangle down with its silk. | Yeah, just like that! I took so many photos like this when I was your age | Comic 7
(Frame) |
| What's Your Favorite Pollen? | I wonder if Beautifly ever feeds on the pollen from Venusaur’s flower. | Level 3 | A Beautifly can be seen on a tree trunk on the main route near the swamp. Once it leaves its tree, it will fly across close to a Venusaur on the right. If an Illumina orb is thrown at the Venusaur, the Beautifly will inspect the seed on top of Venusaur's flower closely. | So it DOES feed on Venusaur’s pollen! Thank you! | None |
| Hard at Work in the Jungle | I often see Pikipek flying near Toucannon’s nest. What do you suppose they’re up to? | Level 2+ | After the first alternate paths join, a tree with a hole in its trunk appears. Tossing a fluffruit into the tree will cause Pikipek to appear, pick up the fruit, and fly away with it. | Oh, I see! They’re carrying fruit to Toucannon’s nest! Thanks for finding out for me. | Hat 2
(Sticker) |
| Staredown for Venusaur | Phil took this photo. I told him that a first-rate photographer would stick around to see how this scene plays out. | Level 3 | On the main route after the first path split, an Arbok appears intimidating a Wooper. Throwing a fluffruit at it will cause it to move away. A fluffruit trail can then be used to bring it towards a sleeping Venusaur behind a tree further down the course. Throwing an Illumina orb and scanning will cause Venusaur to wake up. Arbok will then intimidate the Venusaur. | Oh, you got it! Phil just told me he’s getting ready to go retake his photo, too. | None |
| Jungle Buddies | I saw Wooper and Bounsweet playing happily together. They were so cute! I wish you could have seen it! | Level 2+ | The Arbok at the start of the route can be driven away by throwing a fluffruit at it, allowing the scared Wooper to emerge from behind a bush. At the same time, a Bounsweet hidden behind a hill can be lured out with a melody (from behind a hill just after the Slaking). This allows Wooper to meet its Bounsweet friend. | Oh good, you saw them! Aren’t they just adorable?! | None |
| Making a Splash | Have you seen Quagsire jump into the lake? It’d be great practice to try to photograph it at just the right moment. | Level 1+ | One of the Quagsire at the lake at the end of the course will jump in the water. | Yes, that’s perfect! Your photo really showcases the action of the moment! | None |
| In the Tall Grass | I think I heard a Pokémon crying around here. But where’s it coming from? | Level 2+ | Sobble can be found in the tall grass towards the end of the course on the right of the lake. Scanning and throwing fluffruit at one of the bushes will cause Sobble to reveal itself. | Oh, it was Sobble! Do you think it was hungry? | Emote 17
(Sticker) |
| Operation Be My Friend! | Leafeon doesn’t seem to want to get close to us. I wonder if we can win it over with fluffruit. | Level 3 | Leafeon can be found behind the waterfall on the second alternate route. Throwing fluffruit at it will cause it to eat the fruit. | Oh my goodness! Leafeon’s so close! And it’s eating a fluffruit! | None |
| Myth of the Jungle | It’d be amazing if you could get a photo of Mew eating a fluffruit. | Level 2+ | Mew will teleport throughout the route. Throwing an Illumina orb at all four points will allow it to appear towards the end of the route, and throwing a fluffruit at it will cause it to eat the fruit. | You really are incredible for managing to photograph this once-in-a-lifetime sight! | None |
