Lacey (Japanese: タロ Taro) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Granbull. This sync pair can be obtained through Poké Fair sync pair scouts and was first made available on March 31, 2025 alongside the academy event Pasio Academy Opening. The pair's potential can be raised to
6★ EX since it first released, which unlocks Lacey's EX style.
Lacey also forms a sync pair with Alcremie. This sync pair can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with Lacey in the Trainer Lodge and was first made available on April 1, 2025. The pair's potential can be raised to
6★ EX since it first released, though it lacks an EX style.

Trivia
- Lacey is the first character from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion to be added to Pokémon Masters EX.
- Despite not being from the Paldea region, characters from the downloadable content expansion of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet still have the Paldea theme skill. In Lacey's case, she is actually from the Unova region.
- Lacey & Alcremie are the first sync pair with the Sprint role to not have a base potential of 5★.
- As there is no 4★ Sprint Move Candy, the only possible way to raise her move level with candies is by using a 4★ Move Candy obtained as a prestige reward from the prestige event Battle Buffet Bash.
- All versions of Lacey use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Clay, Carmine, and Kieran.
- Lacey also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Carmine or Kieran on the same team.
- Although it is not listed as one of the original song titles in the Jukebox, Lacey's battle theme includes a melody reminiscent of the opening of the Driftveil Gym theme from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.[1]
Origin
Lacey's design is based on her appearance in The Indigo Disk expansion of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Granbull is a Pokémon Lacey uses in the core series games. Granbull's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Ruby Swirl, Berry Sweet Alcremie is another Pokémon Lacey uses in the core series games. Alcremie's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword, though it is the Dex entry of Vanilla Cream Alcremie, which Lacey does not use.
