Nintendo Music (Japanese: Nintendo Music) is a music streaming app published by Nintendo for Android and iOS devices that is available as part of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. It allows the user to listen to the soundtracks of select Nintendo games and software, including certain Pokémon games. The service was announced and launched on October 30, 2024, with additional soundtracks being regularly added over time.

The app includes a selection of pre-made music playlists, with users also having the ability to create and share their own playlists. The app also features options to filter music from certain games in order to avoid spoilers. There is also the "Extend to..." feature, which allows the length of certain tracks to be extended to 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes; however, no tracks from Pokémon games support this feature.

Though the app is available in numerous languages, most of its soundtracks only have Japanese and English track titles, with all other languages reusing the English names for the tracks.

Availability

Accessing the service requires linking to a Nintendo Account that has an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. As such, the app is only available in countries that have a Nintendo Switch eShop.^[1]

Pokémon soundtracks

Every game on the app has an "All tracks" playlist, which contains all of the game's tracks, and a "Top tracks" playlist, which contains a smaller selection. Most games also have other unique pre-made playlists. The "Find your favorites" section on the home page features "Top tracks" playlists from various games. In the Europe and Australia/New Zealand regions, the "All tracks" and "Top tracks" playlists are named "All Tracks" and "Top Tracks", respectively, and the "Find your favorites" section is named "Rediscover Classics".

Certain games have a "Related Games" section on their pages to list other games on the app. The Pokémon games on the app are all listed as related to each other.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield

The soundtrack for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield was added on May 12, 2025. The "All tracks" playlist contains all 138 tracks from the game and is 4 hours and 43 minutes long. The tracks are mostly the same as those in the Pokémon Sword - Shield + Expansion Pass Super Music Collection, but four short jingles are omitted.

Upon the addition of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, the "Recent highlights" section on the home page had the following text: "Featuring tracks such as Battle! (Max Raid Battle), Battle! (Gym Leader), and more."
