Summer (Japanese: ミナミ Minami) is the female player character in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. Her male counterpart is Ben.

In the games

Summer is a Pokémon Ranger that is sent to Oblivia in order to investigate the Pokémon Pinchers. Her friend and partner is Ben, with whom she teams up with in most of her missions. If chosen by the player, she will be partnered with a ukulele-wielding Pichu. If the player chooses Ben, however, her partner will be a Staraptor.

Trivia

Two alternate colorations of Summer were featured in an official artwork that featured multiplayer mode. One Ranger has blonde hair, orange goggles, and an orange-and-black Ranger uniform. The other has the red and blue parts of her outfit reversed and her hair is more orange. The artwork is featured on the back of the Guardian Signs game case.
