Angut-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان انگوت غربي) is in the Central District[a] Its capital is the village of Qarah Aghaj-e Pain.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of Ungut District[b] in Germi County{{efn|Formerly Moghan County) was 12,806 in 2,585 households.[6] There were 11,855 inhabitants in 2,920 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 10,721 in 2,953 households. The most populous of its 86 villages was Ziveh (now in Darrehrud-e Jonubi Rural District),[5] with 1,412 people.[4]
In 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Ungut County and renamed the Central District.[5]
