Shahrak Rural District (Persian: دهستان شهرک)[a] is in Mamqan District[b] of Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Mamqan.[5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Khanamir,[3] now in Yengejeh Rural District.[5]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Censuses of 2006 and 2011, the rural district's population was below the reporting threshold.[6][7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as zero.[4]
