Beyond the Crossroads (Japanese: わかれた道の行方 Where the Parted Paths Lead) was a Trainer Files event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Gordie & Barbaracle and Melony & Frosmoth.
The "Gordie Variety Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Gordie & Barbaracle for the duration of the event, and the "Melony Variety Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Melony & Frosmoth starting on June 25, 2025 and lasting until the end of the event.
During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers F from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. Obtaining 3,000 vouchers would unlock the story area Trust Yourself and Move Forward. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.
The player could battle using Gordie & Barbaracle or Melony & Frosmoth to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Gordie & Coalossal or Melony & Lapras to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted sync pairs with the Galar theme skill to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.
